Hop and Herb Baler
Hopfen- Kräuterpresse
Our Balers are in use in almost all hop-producing countries around the world, as well as in the herb processing industry.
The extremely robust construction ensures bale weights of up to 90 kg even under challenging conditions. The bale dimensions are 60 x 60 cm, with a maximum height of 120 cm.
The Baler is powered by a helical geared motor with a rated output of 5.5 kW and motor brake.
All programs and settings are managed via a SPS path-impulse programmable logic controller (PLC), ensuring that each bale—regardless of the number of partial compressions (1 to 9)—is compacted with consistent density.
The Baler settings are configured through a touchscreen interface, with multiple language options available for the user.
The press chamber is extended and widened at the top, and two press molds can be shifted manually or, optionally, automatically.
The closure mechanism is manual as standard, but a pneumatic option is also available.
There are two different options for bale weight determination:
Type 2000
Weight adjustment is performed via a height-adjustable fill level sensor located directly at the fill sight glass. The higher the sensor is set, the more material enters the press channel, resulting in a heavier bale and fewer filling cycles required to reach the desired weight.
Type 3000
Weight adjustment is managed by an integrated weighing system. The desired bale weight and the number of press strokes can be stored. The verifiable scale measures the filling material with an accuracy of 100 grams.
Double Baler with reversing conveyor
Two Balers are filled alternately in a continuous cycle. No downtime. Twice the number of bales in the same amount of time!
