Mid-Axle-Device series XXL

The base frame is the fundamental requirement for attaching the side-mounted

implements to the tractor. It serves as the link between the tractor and the working

implement. The base frame is equipped with multiple hydraulic cylinders, allowing it

to optimally position the respective implement.

Compact and sturdy design, short construction suitable for all common hop tractor types, wide hydraulic swivel range due to mechanical parallel guidance, hydraulic tilt

and height adjustment. Equipped with heavy-duty and replaceable plastic bushings.

Electromagnetic multiple control block with two-lever operation. Check valves and

flow divider.

Also available as a 17 cm shorter version for tractors with front loader console, so the

overhang is not greater than with the standard model.

Robust and heavy-duty design, variable cutting disc speeds, straight cutting discs

with disc pressure adjustment. Cutting disc diameter 500 mm, gearbox and bevel

gear drive fully oil-bathed. Hardened bevel gears, cutting disc shafts mounted on four ball-roller bearings. Wide and high throughput, wide pendulum discharge, manual tilt adjustment on the device. Driven by hydraulic motor. Clearing of the soil with a swinging pendulum

As an alternative to the pendulum version, the cutting unit is also available with two

rear-mounted clearing rotors. These rotate outward at high speed, enabling efficient

removal of soil and plant material.

This version allows for significantly faster and smoother operation, particularly in

conditions with heavy soil accumulation and dense vegetation.

This Sharping Unit is available as an optional accessory for the Cutter equipped with

smooth cutting discs. It is mounted directly on the Cutter and can be conveniently

operated via electrohydraulic remote control from the tractor cab.

Operation requires two additional double-acting hydraulic valve connections on the

control block.

The Ridging Unit is an optional accessory for the Cutter. In combination with the

cutting unit, it enables simultaneous plowing and cutting in a single pass.

Each disc is driven individually by its own hydraulic motor. The system is suitable for

use on all soil types.

The design and construction are based on the cutting unit with straight cutting discs, but without pendulum or rotor clearing. Instead of smooth discs, the unit features two saw-tooth-discs that do not require re-sharpening. Due to the discs’ doubled rotation speed and forward cutting direction, neither soil disposal nor clearing of the bifang is necessary.

Universally applicable front reduction bevel gear with angular contact roller bearings running in an oil bath and hardened bevel gears. Two discs with a diameter of 460 or

500 mm. Due to the offset of the toothed discs, the gear can also be used for a rotary harrow or a planting hole drill.

Can be mounted on the disc plough angle gear for soil cultivation. Diameter 670mm.

Low-profile tires with extremely wide contact area, axle shaft with ball roller bearings, including steering function, height adjustment and floating position with a hydraulic cylinder. For operation an additional double-acting hydraulic valve is needed.

Can be mounted on the disc plough angle gear for drilling holes for planting hop

plants. Diameter 310mm.

When the hydraulic oil demand exceeds the tractor's capacity, an additional oil tank

is required. The unit features a three-point hitch and includes a hydraulic pump (80

l/min at 540 rpm), an 80-liter oil reservoir, oil filter, safety valve, complete hose system, oil cooling unit, transport wheels, and a PTO shaft. It is available for front and rear mounting.
